BHAGAVAN -an Introduction

The life of Bhagavan stands out singularly in the world of spirituality, a life which witness the wonderful amalgamation of mind absorbed in the quest for Truth and the possession of a heart which has love to engulf the mankind. The quest for the truth lead Bhagavan to various fields wherein with his inherent zeal, endeavour and sincerity Bhagavan reached the heights. But observing the divergence in words and actions and compromise with the ideals Bhagavan renounced all achievements and grandeurs and his search lead Bhagavan to the holy feet of Swami Pavitranandaji Maharaj. Bhagavan contemplated the valuable letters based on  Advaita Vedanta which his beloved Guru wrote him. On 15th of December, 1984 Bhagavan sank into the depth of Nirvikalpa Samadhi; the realization of Supreme Self. for his inherent  love and empathy for the crying humanity, the Mahabhav ( Supreme Godhood ), one of the rarest phenomenon in spiritual history descended in Him, since then he began to inspire men and women , youths and old alike and took them to have a taste of Supreme Bliss. The tired and weary come to Him  and sits , pause , rest, drink the nectar of Divine love and get prepared to lead a life of truth, love and selflessness.  

THE 2nd TOUR TO EUROPE

On the 24^th of August great enlightened master Sri Bhagavan, founder of the International Vedanta Society (IVS)  arrived all the way from India to Amsterdam, The Netherlands to visit His devotees in Europe. At 2.30pm Bhagavan landed accompanied by His disciple Swami Sankarananda. He was given a grand reception by a group of devotees from all over the world who were awaiting Him with garlands, music and dancing. A great banner saying International Vedanta Society was held up high, while singing Hare Krishna. People were crying by seeing His presence, waiting for years for this precious moment. And precious it was: Europe has been changed forever, conquered by His immense love for the entire universe.

“Anjali Ashram” a center of the International Vedanta Society was established in Berghem, Netherlands and Sri Bhagavan, ‘The Jesus of this time’  inaugurated the Anjali Ashram on the 26th of August with great triumph.  As published in the Dutch newspapers the ‘Jesus of this time’ changed the lives of many in just a short time. While visiting the church on the inauguration day one lady coming all the way from the Caribbean realized the Truth being observed by reporters of TV channels and newspapers. After this more people got immersed in the tremendous Love of Jesus and realized this knowledge which the ancient Vedas talk about. People in The Netherlands changed being attracted by this immense love, following Sri Bhagavan on His tour to Berlin and Barcelona.

Arriving in Berlin the love of God touched this historical important city. He talked with His devotees about the importance of thinking of all the people in the world, saying that nationalism is the cause of our state of hatred. He gave us the knowledge to help the inhabitants of other country’s instead of taking them into Europe where it causes problems. Touching the Olympic stadium by His presence something changed within a few moments, felt by the people around Him. A light entered into the stadium reaching out to many in the future.

When arriving in Barcelona airport a huge enthusiastic group of people from all corners of the world gathered to welcome the Lord to Spain singing Hare Krishna with tears in their eyes. Prabhat Pheri (morning procession) with Mahamantra Hare Krishna were taken out on numerous occasions. On the auspicious day of Janmashtami more than 300 people came and burst into tears by touching the crowned embodiment of Krishna. A rare occasion in history, so many people felt the love of Krishna and their hearts opened instantly, changing their lives forever. Speaking on the occasion Bhagavan said that Vedanta advocates Universal Oneness and this is possible through the knowledge of the Ultimate and love. He also said that love is the dire need of the present day world and is the essence of Vedanta.  On the 6^th of September the program ended in Barcelona, and Bhagavan danced with over 300 people who went crazy of love. From Barcelona Bhagavan will go to Switzerland and then Italy and will reach India on the 15^th of September. 

Many a newspaper published the news of Bhagavan’s Europe tour describing him as Jesus of the time. A number of TV channels also covered and telecasted the news of this tour.

 Bhagavan’s love has conquered in just a short time innumerable hearts in Europe, a wave of love will continue from this moment and will conquer the darkness of this world.
